DMCA and Copyright Notice

Our approach

We respect the rights of creators. Advertisers must upload only text, photographs and videos that they made or have the right to use. When we receive a valid notice that content infringes a copyright, we remove or disable it and tell the advertiser who published it.

How to send a notice

Send your notice through the contact page. It must include:

  1. your name, address, email address and phone number;
  2. a description of the work that you say was copied, and the address of the original if it is online;
  3. the address of each page on this site where the copy appears, so that we can find it;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the owner, the owner's agent or the law;
  5. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice through the same page with your name and contact details, the address of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake, and your signature. We pass it to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they start a court case within the time the law gives, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of advertisers who repeatedly infringe copyright.

Images of people

If a photograph or video of you was published without your consent, use the same page and say so. We treat this as urgent and remove the content while we review it.
